Hey folks, don't know if anyone is interested, but I just got the JC Whitney (yeah, I know, some folks have had their nightmares with good old JCW, but I've always had luck) Motorcycle catalog, and they sell gel-filled seat cushions that strap on over factory seat. I'm not sure if it would fit, but it might be worth a look. It has a cover and comes with straps and stuff. Prices are $58US for the driver and $48 for the back seat. They also have just the gel-pads if you are restuffing your seat (about 10 bucks cheaper).
Another nifty thing they have is those tilt-up maintenance/cleaning center stands... I've seen them in dealers for $100, JCW has them on sale for about $38. There is also some semi-custom Savage stuff (like leather tank dividers) that they say will fit a Savage. Anyway, their URL is:
